gamestop isnt dying but i think gamers are missing the point

OK first off let me link this right fast gamestops "future" store. Ok now that that's over lets get on with this, first off i think that game stop isn't the evil store a lot of people make it out to be. I'm a gamer and I'm pretty proud of that fact and I'm also what many call "old school" so my stance on the current market isn't as bleak as many current gamers (or so i think based on reactions to things that game stop does and also reactions to current games) . I am very happy to see nintendo back on top and the return of their key franchise characters and i snicker a bit when i remember people thinking the wii would fail right off the back with its motion controls and now look at the other guys now look back at the wii now back at the other guys...you get the point. The market has opened the doors for more people and even the most casual player now goes into game stop as if they were a hardcore gamer looking for the newest title. I've had conversations with mothers who were picking up titles for themselves as well as there kids and as long as there is a place where they can go where they can ask questions regarding the games they want to pick up I'm sure there will be a place for game stop. I for one am very happy that DLC is being offered there as i can go in trade old titles and get a normally non discounted online game for half or even free depending on deals they may have going. Am i the only one seeing the win for gamers in this?
